Life is good... Art is my obsession and livelihood, working as a professional artist since 1976.
After 19 years in graphic arts, I moved to exclusively paint fine art,
focusing on large murals and commissioned canvas paintings, plein air painting and studio work.
With hundreds of art murals and paintings for commercial and residential locations to include:churches/cathedrals, hospitals, living centers, schools, museums, restaurants, sport facilities and government buildings as well as private homes, working directly with interior designers or the client.
Approximately 90% of my work is commissioned. Working in a variety of mediums and subjects, allows flexibility to accommodate client requests and incorporate my personal creative twist.

ARTIST STATEMENT
“Celebrating life… people, animals and nature. Finding what is overlooked.”
My style is realism with a touch of impressionism,
keeping my paintings accurate, fresh and interesting.
“Painting from life and animals are my favorites.”
My goal is to capture the essence of my subject, whether it be the how the sunlight hits or expressive eyes.
Through Plein air (outdoor painting) I develop greater skills in observation and decision making.
“There is no better teacher than direct observation of nature itself, getting to know your subject.”
Inspiration comes easily, with persistence and the desire for knowledge,
I always have a challenge to look forward to.
